Kit # 31911
Anyway, my result seems to be in now (my earliest ancestor being John Byrne,
Taghmon, Wexford c. 1690) and I notice that it is 90% likely that I share a
common ancestor with Daniel David Burns Jr within the last 1200 years.
The information also tends to suggest that I am from an Irish family which
dispersed into Benelux etc. but mostly stayed around Ireland, Scotland and
England.
My own thinking suggests that if I had two parents, 4 grandparents etc., then at
48 generations back I had 28,160m. folk to call my own, one of whom I had in
common with Daniel David Burns jr. In other words, a considerable multiple of
every person on earth could have been involved.
Anyway, I await further markers and look forward to either getting to grips with
this subject or (hopefully) having somebody interpret it as our project grows.
I will get my cousins on board after the full results are in - Kevin
I have a Family History entitled "The History of the Byrne and Kelly
Clan", privately published 1982. It is of very strictly limited interest other
than to close family members. I will pass it on at cost to any such interested
person.
